VMWare server and Mandriva 2007 64 bit

This artice http://www.linux-tip.net/cms/content/view/274/26/ presents a way to install VMWare server on machines running Mandriva 2007 64 bit version.

It was amazed that VMWare Server need 32 bit libraries to run on a 64 bit platform (why not using 64 bit library??). The following is a more complete listed of 32 bit libraries needed:

1. libxau6-1.0.2-1mdv2007.0.i586.rpm
2. libxdmcp6-1.0.1-2mdv2007.0.i586.rpm
3. libx11_6-1.0.3-2mdv2007.0.i586.rpm
4. libxext6-1.0.1-2mdv2007.0.i586.rpm
5. libxtst6-1.0.1-3mdv2007.0.i586.rpm
6. libsm6-1.0.1-2mdv2007.0.i586.rpm
7. libice6-1.0.1-2mdv2007.0.i586.rpm
8. libxt6-1.0.2-3mdv2007.0.i586.rpm
9. libxrender1-0.9.1-3mdv2007.0.i586.rpm

The RPM dependencies has been resolved if you follow the listed order to install. I've test it on Mandriva 2007 installation (without X server, KDE, etc...) and VMWare Server 1.0.2.
